HGTV inspired
I always get great ideas from some of the HGTV shows, but never follow through with it. I finally did a small project involving...pictures. You're probably not surprised. Instead of buying really big picture frames, I painted two canvases that would match the decor in Abby's room. I've had a blank space on her wall ever since she moved into that room. Now it is complete with pictures of my two precious children. I got the canvases and paint for 50% 0ff from Hobby Lobby.
My next projects are on a grander scale and also inspired by HGTV. I want to take down the huge mirror in my bathroom and replace it with 2 smaller more decorative mirrors,replace the light fixture, and paint it a new color. Then, in the kids bathroom, instead of taking that huge mirror down, I am going to place trim around it to frame it out and replace that light fixture too. It might be a while before I have completed pictures of these projects, but hopefully I can get it done sooner rather than later.
