The Bourlands in Decatur...
This past weekend my parents, brother, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew all came in town for a visit. Even though Brent did not cook in RiverFest this year, they still came and we had so much fun. Friday night, Honey and Pop Pop kepts all 4 kids while we went to RiverFest to hangout. It started raining, so we turned in early. Saturday, the guys played golf in the morning and the girls took the kids to the mall to ride the carousel and eat lunch. Then it was football time. Brent grilled some great food for dinner. Abby and Libby play really well together. Knox did his own thing but sometimes he wandered in to Abby's room every now and then to see what the girls were doing. Hudson just hung out wherever the crowd was. My parents gave me a new camera lens for my birthday. I have been wanting to get one for a while. I have a Nikon D80 with an 18-135mm lens and now a 55mm lens too. Luckily I had some great subjects to practice on. Knox seemed to like my new lens because I have a lot more pictures of him than anyone else...and he is so darn cute! Trying to shoot in manual mode instead of automatic or progam mode is tough, but by the time I had taken over 200 hundred pictures, I had a better knowledge on all the settings. We had a great weekend with the fam and look forward to doing it again!
