Another Boo Boo
At school yesterday, the firemen came to talk to the kids about fire safety and even brought their truck. I went our there to take pictures for the church. Abby's class came out in 2 wagons. I tried to stay hidden from Abby. I was taking pictures of all the kids and I turned around and saw Abby fall head first on to the pavement. It felt like it was in slow motion. I ran over to her and picked her up. She fell on the spot where she got stitches. I took her inside and washed her forehead. There was just some little scrapes on her head and nose but a bump had formed on her head. I took her back outside, and she wanted me to put her down so she could get back in the wagon. Her class went back for snack time, and I went to get ice to put on her head. I got to her classroom thinking she would want to crawl up in my lap and let me put ice on her boo boo. 1. she wanted to sit in her own chair, 2. she would not let me touch her boo boo with the ice. She wanted to sit their like her friends and eat her snack. I left and went back to work. Now I know she is a big girl now. But not wanting your mommy to comfort you and hold you is starting way too early. I came back to get her at noon and she was really glad to see me.
I've been told more than once that I will probably spend a lot of time in the emergency room with Abby since she is so active. Let's hope she stays active but out of the emergency room!

Maybe you should look into investing in a child size helmet for her! Just wait until she learns to milk these injuriesa and you're waiting on her hand and foot! Kiss her boo boo for me!
