Another Steal at Kroger
Guess how much I paid for 24 cans of pillsbury crescents/cinnamin rolls? It's actually a trick question because I MADE $4! How? I am glad you asked. A few weeks ago, these items were on sale for $1 each. Kroger had run out by the time I got there, so I asked for a raincheck. Then, on my previous Kroger run, a catalina (a coupon that prints with your receipt), printed out that said for every 4 pillsbury refrigerated items you buy, you recieve $2 off your next order (in form of a catalina coupon), for every 5, you receive $3 off, and for every 6+, you receive $4. So, I gathered my coupons that said $1 off 2 or $.50 off 2(it automatically doubles) and my raincheck and headed to Kroger. I paid for 6 at a time, using 3 coupons, paid $3 and recieved $4 back (see below). I added one other item so the coupon would cover the following order. So, after 4 transactions, 24 cans of pillsbury, a few other items needed, I have a $4 catalina to use on my next trip to Kroger...or Publix (they take competitor coupons).
You can do this too. The catalina deal expires on 2/21. Start printing your pillsbury coupons at coupons.com, smartsource.com, and redplum.com. You can also look in your weekly inserts from the Sunday paper. Wait and see if Kroger has another $10 for $10 deal, and go make some money. If they don't have another $10 for $10, it's still a good deal.
