Thanksgiving
Before we left for Memphis for the holiday, Abby and her Daddy raked some leaves...a lot of leaves. Daddy has the philosophy of raking the leaves once all of them have fallen. Well, in theory it works, but in reality, we have so many leaves that we can't see the grass or driveway midway through the fall. So, they put on long sleeves and raked and raked and raked. Hudosn and I watched them through the window in the heat. The front yard was pretty much finished and then it rained that night. In the morning, the leaves that had not fallen yet, were on the ground covering the grass and driveway...again. Looks like another raking day is in their future.
We went to my Aunty Gayle and Uncle Bill's for Thanksgiving lunch. As always, it was delicious. Full bellies and then it was time for dessert! There is always room for dessert. After catching up with family, we went outside to take a few pictures. I wish I could show you the entire backyard because it is beautiful (this is where Brent proposed to me). We actually got a few good pictures out of about a 100. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I know I am blessed and thankful for my family and friends.
