4th of July at Pickwick Lake
The Bourlands (Collins, Wades, Skipworths, Hursts, Wagners...I have a lot of female cousins!) usually get together for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but now we get to add in another holiday. This year it was July 4th weekend. My cousin Bev and her family hosts my whole family plus my cousins Richard and Rolana. Hosting my family comes with 6 adults and 4 kids 3 and under. I don't know many who would do that! The Bill Bourlands have a house down the road and they fill it up with just their family. Needless to say, it's a crazy weekend, but one of the most fun all year. Some skiied, tubed, swam, jumped off the dock, layed out, but all ate. We would all get together for lunch and dinner. It was great just to sit around and visit with family. Richard provided us with a great fireworks show both nights and the kids did sparklers too.We have had some new additions in the last couple of years, so our family keeps growing with spouses and children. Since my internet is still unreliable, I posted the pictures I could. I promise there are so many more to show you how much fun we had over the weekend. Thanks Wades!
