...and eating cereal, sort of
Hudson had his 4 month check up on Tuesday. He was 15lbs (50%), 25 1/2in (75%), and his head is in the 90% (I don't know exactly how big). Dr. Parmer said we could start him on cereal and some stage one foods. We have tried cereal mixed with some pears, but he is not a fan yet. We haven't tried any veggies yet, but I'm thinking if he doesn't like cereal with fruit, he definitely will spit out grean peas! He is rolling over both ways and trying to roll over from his back to his stomach. Dr. Parmer was impressed with his head control, since he does have a pretty big head to control. He still does not like staying in one place for very long so he will sit in his bumbo, move to his exersaucer, stand on my lap, and lay in my arms to go to sleep. Oh yea, sleep, or lack there of. He goes through spurts of taking good naps to very short naps and sleeping for 4 hours at night to waking up every hour for his paci. Hopefully that will change once he will eat all his cereal and some food because it will fill him up. We are enjoying this time of giggling and smiling. Pop Pop gave him the nickname "Happy Hudson" because when he isn't crying he ususally is smiling. We are gearing up for big sister's 3rd birthday tomorrow, so off to wrap presents.Feeding Hudson his first bite of cereal with big sis looking on
