Back from the Beach
All of us along with Honey, Pop Pop, Uncle Blake, Aunt KK, Libby, and Knox, went to Destin for a much needed vacation. We all stayed in a house just steps from the beach. Abby and Libby stayed in the bunk room together. They loved it...even though both of them got up in the morning in the 6 o'clock hour. Abby and Libby had been to the beach when they were 3 1/2 months old. Now they are back and ready for the beach, sort of. Our first trip to the beach was a disaster. We loaded the beach cart up with chairs, an umbrella, towels, buckets, etc. We also had 2 strollers to drag through the sand. That trip lasted about 5 minutes. There was not much beach to play on b/c the water was very high. When Libby and Abby sat on the towel and the water washed up on them, they were ready to go. Luckily, our next trips were more successful. By the end of the week, the girls loved the sand and liked the ocean a little bit better. Knox loved it anywhere he was and Hudson stayed in the shade. Here are some pictures on the beach. There are plenty more pictures to follow (when you take almost 500 pictures on one trip, it takes a while to sort through them).

My friend Allyson and her son Caleb joined us one day...unfortunatley it was the disasterous beach day so we hung out at our poolDaddys and Daughters
Daddy was great at building sand castles
Pop Pop and Hudson hung out in the shade (behind the rentable blue umbrella and chairs that we did not rent but used its shade...very economical)
We love the beach!
Hudson loves being outside
Knox is still figuring the beach out

Libby and Knox braving the waves
Aunt KK had the great idea to bring buckets and shovels for the kids. They were a hit!
