Hudson, day 4
As you can see, eating agrees with Hudson. He took all his bottles yesterday and last night. This morning, we were anxiously awaiting the NICU pediatrician to check on Hudson. What he said depended on when Hudson could go home. He looked at all his charts from yesterday and last night and decided that his IV could be taken out of his arm. That was the news we were waiting on. Once the IV is out and everything else goes well, then Hudson can go home 24 hours later. SO...since I am staying tonight, Hudson could come home with me tomorrow!!! That is if tonight and tomorrow morning goes smoothly. He also allowed me to start nursing today. At the 4:00 care time, I tried to nurse him, and just like his sister, he was a natural. We keep getting answered prayer after answered prayer. We thought I was going home on Friday and the earliest Hudson could go home was Sunday, but Saturday looks like we will both be leaving this hospital. Pray that his vitals stay good and he keeps eating well through the night. Thanks again for all your prayers!!!

Oh my, this is my favorite pic of him! I'm so glad that everything is going great! Hope Hudson is home tomorrow with you.

This is Sherry, Hudson's nurse from the last 2 nights. That's blessed news about your little guy! Your husband told us the name of your blog last night, so I've been checking to see how Hudson did today. Fingers are crossed and prayers are going out that your family will all be home together Saturday!
