Tag, Abby's it!
My niece Libby tagged Abby to tell 6 random facts about herself. This is what she told me...
1. I love to eat! Abby loves food, all kinds. She especially loves dipping things. Whenever I ask her what she wants to eat, Ketchup always makes it on the list.
2. I love to read books! Abby has a gazillion books, but I always find one that she "needs" to add to the collection. She enjoys reading to Brent and me now, even though we only understand half of what she says. She points to animals, colors, things, and we are learning shapes.
3. I love school! Abby looks forward to going to school everyday, even though she only goes 3 mornings a week. She wakes up asking to go to school. She still talks about her friends Gracie and Reese from last year. I just now figured out her new friend's name, LuLu. She kept saying Lulululu. I should have figured it out, but didn't until she recognized LuLu's mommy at lunch on Wednesday, without LuLu being there. Here mommy told us that LuLu talks aobut Abby a lot. Then, this morning, I met LuLu. She is so cute with her blonde pigtails.
4. I love to play outside! She would play outside all day if she could. This week, Honey was in town and on Wednesday, played outside for 2 hours straight. Abby came back with a few rocks and a lot of pine needles. Each pine needle was for someone, and she told me which pine needle was for which friend or family member. She enjoys swinging and sliding. We walk around the neightborhood a lot too.
5. I love to talk! Abby is getting this talking thing better everyday. We are working on putting all her words into a complete sentence. She will say "More please crackers mommy." I am trying to turn that into "May I have some more crackers please, mommy?" She talks to herself and to her babies in her own languarge. She knows what she is saying becasue she like to laugh at herself when she says something funny.
6. I love my baby brother! Yep, we are going to have a boy! We are so excited. Abby is getting used to the idea that she will have a brother and not a sister. In less than 4 months, she will have to realize that baby brother will have to come home and live with us. She is used to playing with babies for a little while and they go home. It should be interesting to see how she copes with the new member of the family.
I hope you know a little bit more about Abby. Now, Abby wants to know 6 random facts about her friends Ford & Luke and her friend Knox.
