The Windy City
Mom, Kelly, and I flew to Chicago for a girls' trip. As soon as we landed, we went straight to eat lunch then to shop. We were all on a mission to find the cutest stuff for the best deals. Overall, I think we did really well. Oh yeah, and I slept through the earthquake. Kelly and Mom woke up wondering what was going on, but not me. The first night we went to a tapas restaurant where we ordered appetizer size portions of several different things instead of getting an entree.
The next morning, I went for a jog downtown and ended up at a park with this big peanut shaped reflective sculpture. That's me in the orange with the city behind me.
We went to see "Wicked" on Friday night. It was fantastic!
Saturday, we met up with a family friend, Meg Cockrell, who lives in Chicago. We ate at "Table 52" whose chef is Oprah's former personal chef. Another great meal.My friend Lindsay Lowery lives in Chicago. This is a view from her balcony.
Lindsay, who is now friends with 2 sisters I went to Auburn with, Cameron and Whitney Headlee, took me out downtown. It was a lot of fun.

Sunday morning, we went on a architectual cruise that we all enjoyed. I won't bore you with all of my pictures of buildings, but here is one with a draw bridge up and the Sears Tower in the background.

Enjoying the wonderful weather on the cruise.

Thanks Mom for a great trip!!!
