17 months... going on 13
This is Abby's guilty face when she knows she is not suppose to stand in the window This is Abby after I have asked her to sit down many times and she thinks it's so funny!Abby thinks she is a lot older than she really is. She loves to play dress up, especially in my necklaces. She would put all of them on if I let her. She is a smart cookie. She knows exactly what I say and what I mean, but she pretends not to understand it in hopes I will give in. Well, it works sometimes. Right now, her main communication technique is pointing, grunting, and taking my hand and leading me to where she wants to go. When she does not get what she wants, she can throw a really good fit. I don't know where she gets it from. It must not be genetic! She loves to point to animals and make the animal sounds. She used to eat a varitey of veggies, but now it's pretty much just green beans. She still runs everywhere and is in to everything.

She did not have school today because of Veteran's Day. She had to go with me to work for a little bit and since I work in the same building where she goes to school, she thought she was going to school. She walked straight towards her classroom. When I told her she did not have school today, she ran towards her classroom. When I caught up to her and grabbed her hand, she sat down and pitched a fit. I guess that's a good thing that she wants to go to school, but not such a good thing that she will make a scene. She finally got up and went and played in my offfice while I got some work done.
I still can't believe she is 17 months. Time really does fly when you are having fun!

I think Abby must have taught Ford her fit-throwing technique when y'all were here because we've gotten a few of lately too! It's hard when they begin to realize they don't HAVE to do everything you want them to!
