Abby's Artwork
Abby is still liking school. When I drop her off, she goes straight to the table with the puzzles and crayons. She is getting better at coloring and less putting the crayons in her mouth. She put the leaves on her tree by herself. The teacher asks where she wants to put the leaves, and wherever Abby points, she puts glue and Abby puts the leaves on the glue. She still enjoys playing with baby dolls, books and ride on toys. She is slowly learning how to share.
The next milestone I'm waiting on is for Abby to tell me what she wants instead of grunting and pointing in the direction of the thing she wants. We are working on different words like please and thank you. Thank you she says sometimes but please is still in the works. What I like the most is that she puts words with the object or person. She knows to say Mama when she wants me. When I say let's play with your blocks, she will go get the bag of blocks. She is getting more and more independent by the day. She does not have to have me in the room with her every second and likes to wander around the house to find different things to play with.
Her brand new thing she started yesterday is that when I played music in the den, she started spinning around in circles until she fell down. She would laugh and get up and do it all over again. Just hearing her laugh, makes me laugh, but when she starts spinning until she gets dizzy and falls, that makes me really laugh and makes the rest of the day better.
