Picture this...

It was a nice Friday evening and Brent, Abby, and I went to the tailgate party before the Decatur High football game to meet up with Sam, Mary Bibb, and Lillianna. It was fun, and Abby got a balloon which she loved. Then Brent wanted to go inside the game which we were not going to do b/c Abby won't sit still for 1 minute. So, we decided to try. On the walk over to the stadium, I was saying how we will only stay about five minutes b/c Abby will not want to stay in one place, especially in Brent's or my lap. Well, here comes the amazing part...Abby sat in her Daddy's lap for the whole 1st half!!! WOW!!! Who would have ever thought in a million years she would do that. She would clap when everyone else clapped and got excited when Decatur scored a touch down. So from about 7:15-8:30pm, Abby stayed in one place. Mark it down b/c it probably won't happen again for a while. I got a little jealous b/c she was being so good, so she sat in my lap for a little bit. We had fun but had to get Abby in bed for football Saturday at the Collins' house the next day.

Only in small towns do people tailgate before high school football games! I love it! Did Decatur win? If so, I bet Abby's their good luck charm!
Tailgating and Chik-fil-A...can't beat it. They did win, so Abby probably needs to go to the AU games if she is that lucky b/c they need some help!
