Abby's first day of school!!!

First we had to go to the doctor to get her stitches out. Daddy held her while she ate her breakfast and waited on the doctor. Abby was great and cried some but then she was back to laughing again. There is a scar, but I am taking her to the plastic surgeon tomorrow to see if there is anything he thinks he can do.

After the doctor, we had a little time before school started so we went to my office, which happens to be right upstairs from Abby's classroom. She was so excited about her new back pack and lunch box. She even tried her back pack on to make sure it fit. We tried to take a family picture, but Abby was so excited to get to her classroom.

Mommy and Daddy walked Abby to her first day of school. Daddy held her hand while Mommy of course took picutres.It took Abby no time to find a friend. They played in the playhouse with a cash register.
Abby left the playhouse to go meet some more classmates.

She found a blue Tigger ball that she wanted to throw to whoever would catch it. She even threw it to her new teacher, Ms. Tammy. When we left after video taping and taking pictures, Abby was a little upset but a minute later, she was fine. Mommy then went upstairs to work but wondered what Abby was doing all morning. Finally at 11:50, I went to get my angel and she was ready for her Mommy to pick her up. Then I fed her and she took a nap in the room across from my office. I got to do extra work today.

Abby's first day went great. Her teachers send home a report on what each child did that day. Abby's report said that she cried a little, enjoyed playing with a puzzle and baby dolls, ate a little snack of pretzels and lemonade and...I'll spare everyone on the diaper report. She goes again on Wednesday and we'll see what happens next.
